Aimée und Jaguar is the film version of the true story of Lily and Felice presented in the documentary Love Story. Lily Wust was the wife of a soldier of the German Reich on the Eastern Front and busy mother of four children: the perfect Aryan woman. Felice Schragenheim was a Jewish girl who lived under an assumed name, actively engaged in clandestine activities of the Resistance. Two women whose love was stronger than hatred that would separate them. Presented at the 1999 Berlinale, Golden Bear ex-aequo to two lead actresses.
