HOME, SCHOOLS, PUBLIC BUILDINGS

House Plan: approved in August 2009, the new legislation on 'housing policy'.

Emergency housing: 550 million euros allocated in 2009 for three years.

€ 1.5 billion invested in construction facilitated and funded in the period 2005 to 2009.

New homes: approved a budget of 300 million euros between 2008 and 2009 for the construction of 5,700 new homes public housing in the town of Rome, to be allocated for rent and 6,000 to be allocated accommodation in properties in Lazio.

Mortgages: Set up a solidarity fund of 30 million euros for families in need.

Good Home: allocated by the Regional Council of € 46 million per year for a good home for a value maximum of 2,500 €.

School construction: Invested 436 million Euro from 2005 to 2011 for a compliance program and securing school buildings.

Public Buildings: Invested 467 million Euro from 2005 to 2011 for work on municipal offices, buildings of historical, artistic and intended worship.

What did the government of the Lazio Region in the period 2005 - 2010

In this space we want to highlight their work and the results achieved by the region to avert the danger that the whole affair remains buried by the president's private Marrazzo.

ENVIRONMENT

Total investments in 2005: 1.2 billion

Water: 450 million for "regional plan for water protection", implementation of water saving measures, re-use of wastewater treatment plants.

Soil: 133 million to safeguard against the risk of landslides and floods.

coastal erosion: 50 million for defense the coast of Latium, now 96% of coastal bathing.

Protected Areas: 139 million earmarked for the Parks of the region, were established 10 new protected areas, including: Park Lake and the mountains Ausoni Funds dell'Arcionello valley nature reserve, subject to extension Lake Vico, Faito forest.

Air Quality: 36 million allocated, approved the plan for air quality, was strengthen the network of air monitoring in urban areas, study for the reduction of noise in proximity to Ciampino dell'aeroprto.

Environmental Education 15 million was invested in environmental education projects and campaigns.

AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES

Allocated a total of 655 million for the Rural Development Plan 2007 to 2013. Were approved as many as 8 sector laws, including the law on the use of GMOs and on rural tourism which has made rural tourism activities increase by 140% in 3 years.
