Subject: Indignation
We are outraged.
indignant because the vote in the House for the conversion of the decree law on the tax shelter for Friday, October 2, 22 members of the Democratic Party were absent.
before considering the very serious absences during the vote on September 30 sull'incostituzionalità of the law itself, however, absences and many more "qualified."
He missed a crucial appointment to give a strong signal to the country and at the base of members of the Democratic Party circles. A sign that had the meaning to communicate and make very clear the intention Representatives of the Democratic Party in parliament to obstruct, by democratic means that the Constitution provides, the populist drift of the current government. Government that wanted to and succeeded with minimal effort to pass a law that has the flavor and characteristics of an amnesty and an incentive for tax evasion. In that vote have also taken away more than 50 parliamentarians of the majority for reasons perhaps not relevant to us now but could be a sign of discomfort and impatience with certain choices of the Berlusconi government.
Where were these MPs? We ask them stronger authority which can now represent us?
We are tired of defending the indefensible. We tired of a party leader to show political and strategic myopia. We are tired of members of the PD that are always above everything and everyone (see the interview by a member of the first order of PD in the newspaper La Repubblica on Saturday, October 3). We are tired of internal wrangling, of notices of temporary satisfaction with the outcome of the vote in circles, aimed at short-term results (see the primary end of October). We are tired of us only when we want the local municipalities, local councils and generally in public life. We are tired of seeing our party and our work thus dispossessed of credibility.
